Default ATI SC a Do It Yourself Project?

Has anyone installed a ATI SC at home? I have experience with older camaros and mustangs building engines as a teenager. Is there any specific equipment of tools needed to install a ATI SC? I believe a LPE TT would be the ultimate machine, but I can see a SC can be build slowly (long tube, x pipe, head work, etc) over time and when funds are available. Any advice would be appreciated.

Yeah, it's really not too bad. Just regular tools, socket set, wrenches, screwdrivers. Took me and my friend 13 hours, do yourself a favor and spend a lot of time getting the hoses to fit good.

What did you do to tune properly?

Nothing yet, we're still working on the overheating. For tuning we're probably going to take it to Extreme Motorsports in Tempe.

Andy at A&A has appartently figured out a way to use the stock fans and has a Z06 running in the 180 degree range in Las Vegas -- you might want to check it out.

Pretty straight-forward install, take your time and get the hoses lined up correctly. Have it tuned with LS1edit too. Good luck!
