Re: Ideal cam specs for forced induction. (YELLOHHH)
The requirements are different depending on what kind of FI you have. The same cam that works well on an SC will not necessarily work as well on a turbo car since exhaust backpressure is more of an issue on turbo cars.
As for what works well on an ATI, Bluthunder got some amazing results on a H/C car with the MMS 229 cam.

Thunder Racing has a cam that they say is suited for FI. It is the one that I am currently pondering.
Here are the specs:
Thunder Racing Custom Split Pattern Camshaft for Nitrous/Supercharger applications- 224/227 .563/.569 114 LSA 2200-6800 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. Automatic cars require computer tuning and it is recommend for optimum results on manual transmission cars. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended.

HOUSE OF SPEED is putting in a Custom Competition "blower grind"
cam with 224/228 degree @ 0.50 duration and .540 lift. This will go along with the Stage III hand ported/polish heads. :D
