Default ECS Alky kit install

Just a quick question regarding location of the meth nozzle and IAT sensor in the intake tract. It says to mount the meth nozzle in the upper portion of the tube. From the pics I've seen in other build threads 2 to 3 o'clock looks like where I want to be if I'm looking directly into the TB. Now the IAT is behind the nozzle, but, how much further back is good and does orientation matter at all?

Thanks guys

Install the IAT sensor a few inches behind the meth nozzle so it gets hit with the atomized methanol. Then you can set the tune to pull timing if the IAT's go up beyond a certain point because you will know the meth isn't working if the IAT's rise much above ambient during a boosted pull.

Does the orientation of the iat matter? Let's say if I mount the nozzle at 3 o'clock should the iat be mounted at 3 as well or can I put it at 6 o'clock so you can't see it.
Also, just mocking up the charge piping and it looks like I may have a problem clearing my hood. Is there usually trimming required here? These rubber couplers aren't easy to cut cleanly.
Here's what I have. Looks like too big a gap between the rad and charge pipe.

Thank you

Thank you
I mounted my IAT at the 9 o'clock position. Your charge pipe should just barely clear the radiator. I actually trimmed the top of my radiator when I had a stock one. Those couplers look a little large, and may need to be cut down some. Try using a razor knife, and place the coupler on a hard surface so you can cut through both sides at once. That should make a even cut.

Thank you couplers were easier than I thought to trim. Tough to tell wether it's going to touch the hood or not until we get it back on but it looks ok for now.
