I have the whole system hooked up correctly......I tested each component out and it seems that the MSD switch is not providing a ground within the 3000 to 6000 RPM range.......
I have both loops cut and there is power going to the unit...the only thing I can think of is that I wired the PCM rpm wire wrong!?!? I never found a white wire on the PCM #10 (the one I hooked to it was blue) - can this be the problem guys?

Uh oh. I hate to give a conflicting story but maybe there are lots of places to tap into the tach wire.
Forum Member Kent posted these directions a while back:
"It is the #10 wire (white in color) on the RED PCM connector.
Hold the connector so that the connector tabs are on top, and the wires are pointing out the back of the connector away from you. #10 should be a white wire on the bottom row, 10th wire in from the left edge.
The PCM is located behind the RF fender, between the wheelhouse and the dash panel, below the battery. "
I followed them exactly and it worked for me as well as other Forum members. I took a picture of the connector (below). When you look at the mating surface of the connector it's red plactic and has the word 'red' stamped on it. The pin # for each wire is stamped on the connector.

There are only two places to hook up the tach wire since our coils are not true single fires. The CPU controls them in 4's thats why we have to use the 4 cylnder operation on the window switch. One is a white wire, the other I think is a purple wire with a stripe..(don't quote me on the second one)
