Default What Injectors???

about to put a v3 si on my 408 and looking to buy some bigger injectors but need some advice. i have 60s but wanted to go bigger. i plan on making about 650-700rwhp max right now on 93 with 100% meth. i know somebody that would sell me some fic1000s but i feel thats over kill right now and want to make sure they wont be too big and have driveability issues. so im leaning towards 80s but which ones and where should i get them? i have a ls3 intake to looking for some to drop in the stock ls3 intake with stock ls3 rails.

thanks

It's better to have to much than to little. Your tuner should be able to dial them in.

with 91 pump gas and dual nozzle meth with m10/m15 tip my Siemens 80lb injectors at 54psi base with rising rate my setup made 900whp on a 427 with d1 procharger at ~15psi. I'd have to check a log to see the IDC but it was not excessive at all.

FIC or ID injectors would probably run better and idle cleaner but street manners on my car are great imo and the 80lb injectors are a fraction of the cost.

Thanks guys. I have a buddy that was going to sell me the fic1000s for a good price as he just went bigger so I'd actually be getting the fic1000s for cheaper than buying new 80s. Just want to make sure they won't hurt me if I'm only makin 650-700whp right now.

i don't have experience with those but I'd imagine the drivability will depend on how good your tuners is more than anything.

No experience with those injectors either. They should be fine though. Check with Charles and see what he thinks, if he will be the one tuning your car. If you can get them for less than the cost of the 80's, then I would get them.

Yea he will be tuning it for sure. He said sometimes a big injector won't drive quite as well but just depends. Yea that's what I decided tonight so we will see how the fic1000s do
