Default Making my own Nitrous Hardlines???

I have been googling for a while and haven't found what I am looking for so here goes

I have decided for the sake of cost, safety, and having a sexy engine bay I want to run hardlines from my solenoids to my dynotune nitrous plate. I have bought

Pipe bender and cutter
25 feet of mild steel 3/16 tubing,
20 ferrules
3an tube nuts
3/16 compression to 1/8npt fittings (to attach to the solenoid)

Is that everything I need to get the ball rolling safely? There seems to be multiple ways of doing hardlines. To properly hook up this I am making a hardline that is 1/8npt male on one side(solenoids) and 3an female on the other side.

When making your own hardlines what do YOU do?

What are the general hp limits of 1/8, 3/16, or 1/4 steel tubing?
I'm pretty sure I should be okay with 3/16 my max hp ever would be 150 maybe 200

Generally, the 3/16 line will flow more than what most people will ever spray. In our experience, the 3/16 is capable of flowing 350+ HP, so they should be more than capable of handling how much you want to spray. You would want both ends of the line to be 3AN since AN fittings are self sealing- just get a 1/8NPT x 3AN fitting for your solenoid. You won't want the hard lines to be to long, maybe 12 inches max, because length of lines does affect flow capability. The shorter the line, the better it will flow- if it's longer, it may inhibit flow. The 1/4" hard lines are capable of spraying 600+ HP (we use it on our Stinger and Hornet Plate Systems), so 3/16 would be the way to go on a smaller hit. Let us know if you need anything else and I'll be more than happy to help you out! If needed, my number is 254-848-4300 Ext. 104 - Andy

Make sure you have the correct flaring tool for the lines. AN stuff uses a 37° flare, and your typical brake flare tools are a 45° flare. You may get a good seal, you may not.
