i installed an mp112 on my car. everything works.. got a solid 5psi (it has an underdrive crank on it)
but its not whiny at all. well it is but its more of a goofy whirring sound. not like the crazy sounds the termi cobra guys get or pulleyed AMG cars.
is it because im spinning it so slow? underdrive and currently the stock 3.4 front... or are these just not as loud as I had assumed them to be

I have same set up mine isn't that loud but I get a lot of belt slipping any way you can send me a pic of your tensioner I'm using ecs set up nobody else has been able to show theirs or has custom set up
I'm gonna catch hell from some people but I'm running a manual tensioner. And with a cheapo autozone belt (I got a gatorback coming) and I don't get belt slip... even with the underdrive..
I did go and replace the idler on the maggie itself with one off a Ford Taurus it's a half inch bigger than the one maggie provides and fits perfect that gives a bit better belt wrap though not much.

maggies don't have much sound till you spin them up at higher rpms....I have the smaller pulley on mine and it doesn't really whine till I get up into the boost...after 8psi its whines a bit....screams like hell at 10
if you are looking for centri type noise forget it

no no just wondered lol I had an m90 i swapped into an old VW corrado and at 9psi that thing screamed.
and these are essentially the same chargers that the ford lightning and HD trucks get... those sound like old gear drive SBC timing cars.
this thing is so quiet it gets drowned out by my exhaust and corsa pace car isnt that loud compared to others

Thank you so much I have the ecs tensioner which is off of fords but when I let off throttle I hear the belt slap back and I swear it's slipping
