Default For Sale 347 CID Iron Short Block With Fully Forged Internals Built For Boost

347 CID Iron Short Block With Fully Forged Internals Built For Boost

Ok, this is a one time deal. What I have to offer is an Iron Block LS engine built for boost. This includes the following: a 5.3L iron block that's been baked and blasted, block has been debured / stress relieved Aligned honed mains with ARP main stud fasteners (included) , cylinders bored and then finish honed with a torque plate with ARP Head Studs (Not included), Block surfaced to ensure a smooth square deck surface, cleaning, balancing and Blueprinting of short block and components.

The engine will be fitted with the following parts: New K1 Technologies 3.622" Stroke 4340 Forged Crankshaft, New K1 6.125" Technologies Forged H Beam Connecting Rods with ARP2000 bolts, New Wiseco Forged Shelf Piston of your choice that include New GFX Steel Top and Napier Second Ring Packs, New Tool Steel Wrist Pins, New engine block plugs. New Clevite Main and Rod Bearings, New Durabond CHP Cam Bearings.

Crating and shipping extra. cost about 50 bucks for me to build a crate.

It will handle 1200 HP all day long. Look closely at the parts list there's some good stuff in there and you would be pretty hard pressed to find something equal for the price. This engine isn't ready yet and won't be until you decide what pistons you want. PM me if you need help, I'm more than happy to help out.

Camshafts, Timing sets, Ect. Ect. Also available.

Price is $4,000

Hey Doug, it was nice talking to you as well. I hope you are out enjoying your car. It sounds great and I'm sure it has no problem laying the smack down on a lot of stuff out there.

Good evening everyone. I've received several PM'S about this engine and one of the most common question was does this price include a camshaft and an oil pump. The answer is it does not but I have absolutely no problem installing and degreeing a camshaft and time set and an oil pump and absolutely no additional charge. You would simply pay for the parts.

To the top.

That's gorgeous and similar to what I was thinking to put in mine. Great deal for somebody looking to do a serious stout FI set up.

Just paid 5K for basically the exact setup from a highly reputable shop here in Houston, oh and I supplied the crank, rods, and block. OP, I think you might be familiar with them.....

Great deal for somebody looking to make serious jam. Don't know the OP personally, but we have mutual friends here in Houston and I'd pull the trigger in a heartbeat if this was 9 moths ago.
