Default Driveability question for supercharged C5's

Just curious as to how the car behaves when you try to heel and toe (like in a road racing situation vs dragstrip). I really like the driveability of the stock ls1, and for that reason was thinking of going stage ll heads and cam (naturally aspirated) to keep that high revving/predictable shifting feel (pretty important in curves with power ON :D ). I have NO experience in a blown c5, but the last supercharged car I drove (a Ford Thunderbird SC v6) had this annoying habit of not wanting to quickly drop rpms between shifts -- it kind of 'stuck' for a couple of tenths of a second at the shift point before the rpms would drop. I really like the look of Lingenfelters supercharger offering with the magnuson....anybody with one care to talk about this ? In a strict drag race situation (ie, 'power shifting') this might be OK, but I'd rather go naturally aspirated (maybe towards a stroker motor to get more torque) than put up with driveability I didn't like....

Real experiences appreciated ! Thanks in advance,
Jd3

I can't comment on the heal and toe (since mine is an A4), but my car drives very much like it did when it was stock. Even more than it did when it was a head/cam car. Very predictable, very smooth.

Just one heck of a lot more power.

I dont do road racing, but with the procharger, it comes on gradually from 2000 then maxs out at 6300-6500....I would think it would work out ok, with some practice..You wont find the lag with a C5 similar to mine, like you experienced with the tbird..Hope this helps a little
