Hello guys I'm looking for some help. I am interested in a rear mount turbo kit that's for sale in the C5 parts section. The kit is on a 2005 c6. He says it will be a direct fit on my C5 just looking for some clarification on that. Please excuse my immature knowledge.
If it's not a direct fit would this kit need a lot of modifications to fit a C5?
Any clarification would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance.
You would ha e to cut out the cubby section of the trunk in order for it to fit but the rest of the kit should be very close to direct fit I would imagine.
I would guess that it will not be a direct bolt-in.
I used a C6 APS kit on my C5 and had to extend piping and brackets, lower my radiator and notch the frame on one side to clear the turbine housing.
The chassis are close but different enough that I am fairly certain you will need to do some fabricating.
