Default idle vacuum reading on Boost gauge

What should the idle vacuum reading be on my Cobalt boost gauge , (shows vac/Boost). shouldnt it be showing boost in WOT, or is it normal while in park and reving the motor to higher RPM's that the Vac gauge bounces to a higher vac, I was thinking there must be a leak in the tubing, or am I just being stupid...Thnks

I have a Maggie MP112 and Magna charger instructed me to hook my Boost gauge tubing to the port next to the booster pump line, it is the brass cap next to the Black tube going to the booster pump module.

Pic shown below,

If the engine is not under load, no it will not be showing any significant positive pressure.

Drive it.
