I was trying to install my autometer electronic fuel pressure gauge last night and it looks like you need some type of adapter to hook it up to the fuel rail.
Is this what you guys have done? Where did you get the adapter? Does it need to be an autometer part?
I really don’t need pics. I just need to know where you can get the adapter. The sender has a male end and so does the fuel rail. Maybe I’m missing something that should have been in the box. .

The Autometer instructions say to use part# 3275 to connect to a schreader valve fuel rail, but in looking at that part on the Autometer site it is male to male. http://www.autometer.com/hp/2001_cat...sories/87.html
Is the valve on the end also threaded on the inside?
Anyway, I guess I'll call one of the shops tomorrow to find out what they use.
I just got mine all hooked up and working using the fitting from a mechanical fuel pressure gauge and a female-to-female coupler. I went and bought the mechanical guage at Auto Zone out of desperation, and got the coupler at Home Depot.
Too bad I got the 0-15 PSI electrical gauge though. It just stays pegged while driving. I wonder if I can just change the gauge, and keep the control box?
#3280 looks more like the right one, assuming it has the pin in the center to open the valve in the fuel rail. That's what is on the end of the mechanical gauge I bought. You would also need the female-to-female coupler to attach the sensor to the #3280 part.
FYI, talked to Mike at xtreme. He said the schreader comes out pretty easy with a little tool that can be found at an autoparts store. That seems to be the trick.
