so where are you measuring fuel pressure and how? your afr of stoich at 100 kpa also seems pretty weird.
I put in a new walbro 255 and all is well now. That pump lasted less than 6000 miles with the BAP running at 4 psi boost. I will see how long this one lasts.Thinking about going with a ECS stage 1 if I can save the cash before this walbro goes out.
Just FYI, the fuel pressure didnt drop that much at first when it started going lean, maybe 2 psi. Then they gradually die. Didn't go out all at once. Eventually the car fell on its face at 4000 rpm like a spark plug going bad.
Just part of hot rodding.Glad I use 100% methanol injection. Word to the wise it is excellent insurance.
Yea that may be the culprit but fuel pressure would have to be dropping to cause the lean issue if it is related to the pump/bap!
It was the pump.On my last check with a fuel pressure gauge the pressure became more and more erratic until it just lost power after 4000 rpms. It ran like normal for more than a week out of boost until it crapped out.
The BAP was ok. Voltage was 17.2 when running with hobbs bypassed.
Boost a pumps are just a bandaid to make these kits work with a simple installation. I would recommend upgrading your fuel system, I happened to have a racetronix dual pump setup with wiring harness all new in box
