Roll Cage Fabrication
Hey guys, I'm trying to find some shops on the East Coast who do roll cage fab. If you have used anybody or know of anyone who has had a cage built please post up with any information available.
I'm looking for a cage that gets me legal down to 9.00 as I doubt I will ever be surpassing that mark.
I'm located in Northern VA so the closer to my location the better but I will travel to get it done right.

It's almost hard to believe all of the requirements for 9.99 and quicker.
is along the lines of what's required as far as cages is concerned. I that that since I feel that it's the point where you transition from a street car to a race car as far as how I feel when behind the wheel.
The clothing/helmet cage don't even seem to be the least of the concerns for passing tech.
Wolfe makes a mail order C5 specific cage that might help you get it done if you can simply find someone to weld it in for you.

NRC motorsports in SC are top notch. They're on here from time to time and have built several C5 cages.
Also Carrols Rod & Racecraft in NJ has built a bunch of C5 cages as well.
I'm sure the ****** on YellowBullet would be able to point you to a shop closer to you.

Drummond race cars in DE. They did Sal's 6 sec viper and it looked awsome he still had all the factory interior . Not sure how close you are to Ashburn. But I have the wolf 10 point welded in mine. I realy like the fit. You can barley see the bars. You can stop by to check it out.

Mayhem Motorsports in Durham, NC does good work.
Scott's Motorsports in Fayetteville is top notch.
I dunno, but I really don't think you need an 8.50 cert cage for 9.99

Will a track throw you out if you go 9.99 without a cert cage? Perhaps not. But they could.
NHRA rules state faster than 10.0 needs a cage and that would be the 8.50 cage.
Perhaps IHRA rules are different. I don't know.
