fuel rails
do the extruded type of fuel rails work on a 99 c5? i cant see how a connection could be made at the firewall on the drivers side, unless there is some kind of banjo contraption out there and even then. they will be higher than the stock rails, right?

cut the cowl or cut the rail down to make it shorter and have it welded back together, that's the only way I've seen lines fit on the rear of the driver side rail... or you could feed them both from the front instead

I use a fore innovations low profile 180* fitting and it fits under the cowl on the drivers side but I also have hinson short motor mounts.

also, what is that bracket for, between drivers side fuel rail and firewall, that attaches to the intake by two screws? does it have any function?

that brackets purpose is to chafe the injector/coil harness wires over time and cause misfire issues... remove it and save yourself the trouble
