Okay all you NEED TO KNOW people. I just got off the phone with Mike and my car is DONE :D It's too late to drive tonite so I will pick it up in the morning. I will give you full details when I get back. Mike has done me right on issues he had no control over. Good thing he is young.....I bet he has done some aging in the last few weeks. :lol:

HEELLLOOOO, :D :D :D :eek: :eek: :eek:

Just got home, tried a new way home ....got lost :lol: It was a fun trip back car ran cool. I have some PIC and dyno #'s I will try to post later. top power was 492 RWHP and 527 RWT. The car is NOT loud.......I might say it sounds stock......untill you put your foot in it, then :reddevil I was feel pretty good pull when I noticed I was in 6th gear :lol: My wife passed me at about 100 in her T-Bird so I punched it in 5th I hit 140 so fast I could not believe it. MAN this thing hauls AZZ big time. I need to get the car back to Mike to get the headers coated, I just couldn't wait.......but it gets pretty hot over there. I ran 5lb most of the time but gave my wife a ride at 7lb........ :lol: :lol: She is like majorly pissed at me :blueangel: Bottom Line IT"S A KEEPER.................. More later

The top power is at 7lb's. Idle is very smooth and I didn't feel or hear any surging. Power is very very smooth just does everything quicker ( like the car has lost half it's weight ) Drivability is really like stock untill you get into the pedal about 1/3 to 1/2. As far as turbo Lag it might be there but I dn't feel it at 2.5 to 3K the seat belt locks up real well. My only issue is the heat from the header because I didn't wait for it to get coated..but so far nothing has melted. OH one other thing Traction control is a pain to have on. Traction in general is going to be an issue. And I don't care what the say..when you loose it.........if it stays on the street it doesn't count. Can some one host some PIC and the dyno's? If so I can email it to you. Someone is not talking to me right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and she does the web site

Glad to hear that you got it back...now...more details. Any detonation? How is the idle? part throttle response? Full Throttle response? Traction problems? When do you see full boost (rpm)? What is full boost? Any pleasant surprises? Unpleasant surprises? other?

I don't know about you guys, but I have been on pins and needles all week waiting for the results. :D :D


My install is scheduled for some time in the middle of next month. I have volunteered to be the guineau pig for the 62-1 Q-Trim.

to get it before the snow starts to fall around here.

From what I know .......there were some back pressure issues that mike had to resolve that caused the boost to be limited. Maybe Mike can chime in here with the details. I know that my engine was stronger than his, so he was able to see any flaws in the design. All I know as I was driving it at 6am this morning and :D :D :D I swear I hope I get use to this power someday :eek: :eek: and when I see that VIPER I have living over here......I will be nice... :reddevil :boxing :lol:
