How much should it make
So, a long time ago before I knew of the hatred of Kenne Bell on Corvettes I purchased one, a 2.8l with a 3 inch pulley to be exact. I built up the bottom end, got an 02 LS6 cam, LQ9 heads, full catless exhaust, upgraded the fuel system and other odds and ends things I'm probably forgetting right now.
Now after all this time after facing many set backs. The Tuner informed me the car was completed and ready for pick up. With the information above, what do you more knowledgeable guys think the car should be making?

450-500 is what I guess. Maybe a hair over 500

On a built bottom? Why cant you just boost it to the power level you want if the BE is built (I assume forged). Thats a lot of coin for 500whp

Yes the bottom end is forged. It ended up making 440/508. I have really been out of the game for awhile with engines and such. I bought the car in June of 2008, that was also the last time I drove it, since I was home on R&R. My buddy at the time swore he could get everything done for me, so by the time I redeploy I would have it. Fast forward to Thursday of this week, and it is finally done.
We'll see how I like it once I get to drive it. I am currently in Missouri, getting ready to PCS again in a couple of months and the car is currently in Kentucky. If it is a fun car to drive around, I'll probably keep the current set up.

I'm surprised didn't make more than that? my h/c/i C5 made 440whp back in the day. lower torque but also cost not very much and was very simple setup. I would have guessed 550whp. still sounds like a fun car though!

That's a little disappointing. My Z06 made 550rwhp with meth, and a 3" pulley. We stopped there because my clutch was slipping, Iike crazy so there is more in the tune yet. My buddies vert did 520rwhp no meth. Both installed the little mp112 Maggie supercharger. Both engines are stock also. I even have stock manifolds and full catalytic exhaust.

it should make 500 + at the tire or take it off
not a bad blower, but something is wrong here
check the health of the engine and tune as that blower should make more

MAYBE 510 RWHP AND 495 RWTQ. But drive it for a little and pull that heat blanket off. Will be fun like from red light to red light. But you will hit all the tq by 2300 rpm. Robert

lots of 800 vettes running around with the built 416 package from Yenko on both vettes and comaros
seems to use the tvs 2300 rotors and it's a good blower
I like the callaway one too!

So, I got in contact with the tuner, he stated part of the problem was belt slip, running on the 6 rib system. The blower didn't make a lot of boost and the inlet temps were pretty hot.

You can spend a bunch more time and money trying to fix this kit, or take it off, sell for 2-3k and buy a A&A or ecs kit and make 700+. The other kits can probably be at your door in a few days and installed in a few days. Way easier than PD blowers, more and more torque since you can run a lot of boost with a built bottom end.

Well, I'm going to have to get my hands back on the car before I can do anything. Right now shopping around for shipping companies. Thanks for the advice guys.
