I think my TC is behaving different now that the car is boosted. It's less intrusive, alowes more wheel spin before it cuts power. Someone told me that it was natural because of some technical thing, vacumm was mentioned. Is this correct, or is it just that the added power gives the electronics less time to react?

the factory traction control is pretty useless and dangerous with more power
when you exceed the torq limits designed into the system it doesn't behave well
aftermarket ecms like holley and halltech megasquirt , ect.... have effective traction control systems but they are a heavy lift to install on the c5 and pricey
I turn it off and use my foot at the characteristic of full wheel spin followed by closed throttle isn't good for driving dynamics

It's in your tune, they usually raise the threshold in the torque management table.
Im running the stock TC wth 10#. Not sure if it was tweeked in the tune [LS1edit]
Its pretty hit or miss TBH and cant be rilied upon. Sometimes its spins,; sometimes it seems to fall flat and then I realize it was the TC kicking in.
I actually prefered the TC on the C4 LT1 r
that would push up on the pedal as feedback
I am getting an occasional 'service active handling' code now and then; that may have a role
Ultimately, I trust my rt foot more.
I've been fortunate that I've never really had a need for traction control to interfere due to tire selection and pedal ability, but I can attest that it will throw you for a loop when you're spinning them ever so slightly unknowingly and the TC kicks on at 120 MPH (cold tires....whoops). That was at 761/670 at the wheels.
