how are you guys running a trans oil cooler? im running the A&A kit so im wondering how/where you guys are mounting the cooler and the lines. any pics and or suggestions/write-ups welcome. will soon be installing cam and Stall so thinking it's a good idea/time to install a trans cooler.
Not my idea, got it from someone here. Powered cooler mounted under driver headlight. Brake duct removed and a hole cut in fender well (grill over hole). It works great trans stays cool. I think it's a B&M cooler.
where are you guys tapping in the lines? my trans am i just tapped the lines from the front radiator. honestly i haven't even examined this one much yet so i may be able to do the same..?

Mine wasnt originally an auto car, so I came straight from tranny.
If yours already goes through the radiator, I have read conflicting posts. Most say to go through your aux cooler first, then your radiator. Helps to maintain temps in the winter.

This is where they mounted my new trans cooler. Ran all new braided lines all the way to the transmission and eliminated the lines from the stock cooler. Since I live in Florida my tuner said adding the extra heat by running it to the stock cooler wasn't necessary and would just cause me to run more heat than necessary. I'm sure for those who live where its cold maybe daisy chaining them for winter heat might be a better solution.
