I have seen your add numerous times and was wondering just how the tune you provide thru the mail or email works? Every time I get my car tuned or retuned it requires quite a bit of time and numerous pulls on the dyno to get max performance. Just how do you accomplish the same thing thru email or mail? Not doubting you can do it just wonder if this is as good as the tunes I have gotten in person? Thanks Rick

It would be way easier to answer your question on the phone as I don't know what car you have or what mods are on it.....

There are 2 definitions for "MAX PERFORMANCE" in my book.... except most people usually only know one of the

two...... Until their car does not drive the best it can.... or blows up.

MAX PERFORMANCE to most people is MAX PEAK HP... Dyno sheet and bragging purposes... and most people out

there think that MAX HORSEPOWER means MAX PERFORMANCE AND MAX FUN OR ENJOYMENT.....

In my book, MAX performance usually means shitty performance & driving, and more time broken and sitting than driving.

Many people out there have GREAT HP numbers, but the car drive like crap.

Again, the way I feel about this topic is that I'm not here to best your local dyno guy by 5 or 10 HP with a remote tune or

have 2 tenths off your 1/4 mile time.... I never boast HP or even use the word in my tuning ads.... That's not really what

it's about..... Sure, many times my tune will have more power or peak HP or whatever, but again.... It's not all about that.

Most people who approach me have been to tuners or dyno shops and they are not happy with the results. (not meaning HP)

Usually the cars don't drive well for regular driving... Transmissions feel crappy....or other "performance" shortcomings.

Again, I'm not here to compete with your current dyno tuner for #s but if your car drives like crap or misbehaves, 99% of

the time I can make it right.

In past years most of my local and mail order tuning was first time customers wanting my tunes or CoW BOOSTER!

Sad to say, but in the last year or so 80% of the tuning I do is RE-TUNES and CLEAN UP work for vehicles that are

way more screwed up than the customer knows.... If you're not liking your tune, then it is likely worse than you think.


SO, when I use the word "MAX PERFORMANCE" is usually means "MAX FUN AND DRIVEABILITY" and does not

mean.... "I'm here to out-do your local tuner in terms of horsepower." Much of the time it may mean a bigger peak #

or whatever, but if you think about it most people would much rather have a fun reliable car that runs well rather than

a bigger dyno number..... Most guys believe a bigger dyno number is the road to happiness, fulfillment, enjoyment, and hot chicks.....

I've said it 1,000 times.... Usually, it's a dead end road paved with suffering and wasted money.
