No tuners in area, how do you tune after S/C install ?
Lets say driving to a tuner is on the bottom of the list.
(1)Would you wing it by scanning and tweek with LS1 edit, dyno etc?
(2)Mail your pcm to a tuner with a good reputation with s/c's?
(3)Get a scan file from someone who has good results with their s/c and load/flash your pcm?
(4)Not do the s/c install yourself and wait until you could travel to a tuner to do it,or install and take it to a tuner?
I've done all the research and know what components I want but I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to move forward because of the tuning issue.
There are a few guys here in Albq nm with s/c C5's that just aren't getting the #'s they should. I'm even wondering if I tune at sea level and drive home where the altitude is 5,400ft if I may still have to make adjustments.
Any thoughts...........

I would give Ed Wright a call. (www.fastchip.com). I think he could get you a pretty good tune via the mail (He has done a bunch FI ls1s). He will also work with you to get it right, if you have problems. . He really takes pride in his work.

If you just delete code 1514 and adjust the injector offset, it'll actually run pretty good. You can fine tune from there. With 1514 still there, it won't run. As soon as you touch the throttle it will go into reduced power mode. I have the LS1 Edit files from the last couple. They should be pretty close. I'm going to have one of them richened up a little today as one of the cars is a tad lean.
