Default Timing WOT e85

What are you guys running for timing on corn? Im currently at 12.

A friend had his tuned by a local shop (SI v3 made 622 on e85) and he told me that the car didnt make any more power with more timing so the tuner stayed at 13 at WOT.(I have the Hp file to verify)

13 Seems low to me, especially on E85. It is an ls6 could that be why? Just seems so low to what I have seen.

Im at 12 currently with the street tune. Cant wait to get it on the dyno and see what it wants for timing.

22 on mine, it probably could take more but I want it to be relatively safe... I was running 16 on pump gas and meth, 12-13 seems very low on e85 but every car is different just give it what it wants

11.4 commanded but if you are running straight e85 (no flex fuel) the afr may swing a little bit either way depending on the content vs what the car was tuned with and the weather but from what I have seen on my car it isn't a big enough swing to cause any problems if the tune is safe... I always test it beforehand so I know what's going in the tank and the station I use has never tested below 85% even in the winter and in the summer it is usually in the mid to high 90's%, if you are tuned on the good stuff then get some low % ethanol then it might cause an issue if your tune isn't adjusted for it

If the dyno proved more timing made no difference to power anywhere in the rpm range....it would seem futile to just add more anyway ?

How much more timing did the tuner try ? and it made no difference at all anywhere ? or did it lose power ? And just flat 13 at all rpm's ?

13 flat from 2.2k up. Buddy said it wouldn't make any more with more timing. Going more than 13 didnt add any power.

Timing flat from 2200rpm upwards ? Right through to 7k or whatever redline is ?

That would seem unusual to be optimal for almost any engine
