383 with D1sc dyno results
forged 383 bottom end(eagle crank/rods diamond pistons)
stock 243 heads with ls9 head gaskets, roughly 10.7 compression
Jam Cam
speed engineering 1 7/8 headers
A&A secondary drive
D1 procharger 14psi
dual nozzle meth
SD tune (cobalt map sensor)
107* south Texas weather
was hoping for 800hp but only put down about 780hp but the torque was right there as well at 750ft/lbs, before on the stock bottom end torque was always way behind....I'm sure in cooler weather it will make for horses

Nice numbers. The D1 is great head unit. Like you said in cool weather you might make the 800. Also what filter are you running in front of the head unit? Have you tried a velocity stack?

I'm running an old a&a procharger kit with 4" piping, I just upgraded to their latest bracket and tensioner and secondary drive
not my pic, but same piping and intercooler

Looks good man! Im running something very similar. 383 (-7cc pistons) Ti-trim A&A kit with secondary drive, hitting about 13psi on 9.0 compression. made 737rwhp. Looks like that extra compression is helping you out.

yea I think so, and timing is set to about 19/20....the dual nozzle meth helps, ...for fuel I'm just running 60lbs injectors with walbro 255 pump with a KB boost a pump

how high did they rev to on the dyno?... might just need a little more rpm to hit 800 but it should still haul either way

not slamming OP's car or nothing, though... that's good stuff & the cooler air will help us all. hopefully it cools off by the time Bret gets done with mine & it's ready to dyno.

Doesn’t the 4” stroke on ls1/6 blocks have the bottom of the piston skirt extending below the liner and rocks/slams back into line ready or not when the crankshaft is headed up?
Isnt it a no-no doing a stroker crank (for longevity) unless you have a deep skirted ls7 style block?
