My car has about 35,000 miles on it. It's an A&A V3. Build it right and it'll be the last thing to fail.

I'm wondering the same question. I'm retired, an old vet man , my third vette another C5. Love it, its my dd, is it the best way to go with a supercharger with a car at 50,000 miles, just wanting some spirited driving. $7,000 is a lot of money. Just looking for around 500 up to the wheels. Ty for sharing y'alls knowdlege and wisdom.

I'm researching the same question as I drive mine daily as well but we would a little more power at times.

I daily drove my c5 for 5 years before my son was born. I put roughly 80k on my supercharger in those 5 years. I've added another 20 since then and the car is still running strong.

One word of advice would be to do it right the first time (Get the right kit from the right vendor), I like to tinker with mine and have upgraded it over the years - I've spent more money doing the piece meal route then if I just did it right the first time. I've had my ups and downs, but it's mainly due to my need to keep changing things and not leaving well enough alone. Everyone has different goals, although boost is addictive - knowing you can just change a pulley and get 50, 100, 150+ more HP becomes difficult to not pull the trigger on updates/upgrades...

With that, every car is different. Some have had the stock motor not survive 500hp, and others are running 800 on the stock internals - having a good tuner is key!

i put my TVS on in 2011 at 45k on a stock 2000 LS1 with exhaust. it's done fine for the last 28k mi (to include cross-country road trips, track days, 'spirited weekend nights', etc.). the first year with the blower was at 480whp; the last 6 have been at 540-ish.

just go for it & make sure it's tuned right - that's the biggest key.

Back in the early 2000s I put a Kenne Bell (conservative 5-6lbs of boost) on my V8 Grand Cherokee I drove daily. I put 75,000 miles on it over five or so years. It ran like a top...never an issue. I'm sure it's not the exact feedback you were looking for but it seemed like a good place to tell the story

When I bought my 2000 C5 Corvette with 36,000 miles, the previous owner had already installed the supercharger (Procharger P1 SC1). I took it to a reliable, very conservative tuner. The result was 7.2 lbs. of boost and 517 WHP on the dyno. Since then, I have driven 23,000 additional miles with no problems. I even drove it on a wonderful 4400 mile road trip.

Ty. That's a very positive answer. I'm saving up to go see Bret down in Dallas to fix me up.

Youre in good hands, then. I wouldn't worry about a thing.

I bought my 2002 M6 Vert in 2013 with 20k miles and put an A&A Vortech SC with 8 psi and then longtubes.
The clutch pedal stuck to the floor for a minute after WOT blasts.
Got worse after the longtubes.
I replaced it with a McCleod RXT dual disc which is smooth as stock and can hold the 580 rwhp.
The old flywheel was blue in places so we replaced it with a new OEM.
After putting 27k miles on it in 5 years the oil consumption has increased to a quart in 2500 miles between the 5000 mile intervals.

ECS did an SC-600 on my 2004 z06. It had about 60,000 miles on it when I had it installed in 2011. Daily driven? no....driven often? yes! as much as possible. 605 to the wheels. As Chris told me "It drives like a stock car until you hit boost".
