Highest compression for turbo
I have a 408 stoker with 11.5:1 CR. TEA ported 799 heads and comp cams 239/247 cam 624/624 lift. Can I safely run a single turbo on this setup without any cause for problems. Obviously I would have to upgrade to a turbo cam?

I would try it. Somebody has to try pushing the envelope or testing the waters. LOL. I’d go E85, custom spec’ed cam and the thickest head gasket available for piece of mind.

I bought a 402 LS2 with 11.5 compression. Added a .060" gasket and 317 heads. I lifted a head at around 20 psi boost. I then went with a .100" gasket, some 72 cc heads with a 3/4" deck and it has been fine so far with 93 and meth. I'm going with e85 soon. Mine is a Huron twin turbo.
