Lsx 102 intake, which tb?
hi i just purchased a slightly used lsx 102mm n wanted to know is it worth upgrading to a 102 tb or can i just buy the adapter to fit my ls6 tb? Will i be loosing alot of hp? I have a a&a v3 Thanks

Generally people do not like the fast intakes for boost due to their multiple piece design and developing boost leaks. Also people have made 1000 whp on factory intakes include ls6's and stock TBs. If you are going to use it, I would at least get a 90mm GM factory TB. The GM 90mm TBs will not require an adapter. Nick Williams is one more popular name brands but make sure you get one of TB for boosted cars.

Thanks! At first i thought it was over kill for a fast 102 but got it for a gd price, found a gm 90 mm tb, now im not sure if i should just stay with my ls6 intake n tb, since im only making around 600 whp.

Your ls6 setup is not going to be a limiting factor from what I have read.

The fast102 doesnt fit worth a crap. Hits cowl in rear and you will need hinson 3/8” lower motor mounts. I still have yet to put mine on because of that. I have the mounts it just isn’t on
