Were you guys running the short mounts with Z06 springs or base springs? Z06 springs have less arch.

BTW FunCool Love those Vettes! Mounts are in, I have not set the ride height or any adjustments but its clearing by a zip tie with the stock Z06 Spring. However it was at stock ride height so with the cradle spacers added it will lean towards monster truck by a little less than 1/4". The pan looks good the drain plug does hang below. No running over loose bricks with this one. The torque tube clears the tunnel pan by 3/8"

And heres a shot with the pan and cradle in view. Oh and the heat exchanger Ill find out if the radiator still likes me soon. Still waiting on the replacement charger

What about spacing the cradle down, rather than messing with the motor mounts and having to deal with interference?

Has anyone ever machined the "Edelbrock" and "E-Force" logo off of one of those? I prefer things to look as clean as possible.

I believe his plan, in order to fit it under the stock hood, is to do both.

a few different places already make cradle spacers, too. best i can tell, that's the easiest solution & is what i was gonna do to make room for a 1/2" manifold spacer on my TVS.

I just have to make room to get back on it, The new supercharger is in. I already have thicker cradle spacers on the car along with the lowering mounts, next up is to trim trim up the hood for a test fit and run the fuel side. Should have more on it next week! Got sidetracked with other projects!

Working on it today! All my clearances are looking great. I am trying to get all the odds and ends done today. I bolted the supercharger on last night for the final time. Lingenfelter didnt mention anything about the PCV system except plugging the rear PS VC. I have a standard passenger side valve cover on the way LS1 style. (Should have the new vc any minute!) I am running the base PCV hoses behind the intake manifold. Also I found out that a 2008 LS3 water pump is different than a 2009-2013 LS3 water pump. The outlet is on the driver side and the radiator hose is shorter. (same on LS7's of that year bracket) I am trying to pick one up locally but my delco parts supplier cant find one. The recommended 280mm belt is too short so I have to pick up a few longer ones to try out, maybe a 300mm? Also It looks like I will have to modify the radiator top brace to drop the Edelbrock air intake down some the directions just mention to bolt it down with new hardware but the angles are not a great match. It sticks up unnecessarily too tall. My kit didn't come with the lingenfelter template but it doesnt matter since I have to alter the support.a adapters figured out. Running an LS2 90mm throtle body. Cant wait to fire it up!

Well I finished the project. Its running well on a base tune. The clutch is being broken in right now and after 500 miles it will head to the dyno. I am real pleased with the results. I was able to get it to fit under the factory hood with the hood insulation reinstalled. I had to cut into the hood on the rear brace about 10mm wide and the length of the blower across to clear the sc raised section. The front brace was trimmed down to clear the throttle body area where I installed a 90mm dbw LS2 throttle. If I machined down the lid I would have even more room but as it sits it clears fine. These Eforce kits rub on the C6 hood insulation as designed. In a nut shell and for those who missed it I ran Hinson 3/8 drop mounts and 1/4" spacers from Lingenfelter to get the clearance I needed. The leaf spring clears the pan with the suspension hanging free. If we were to lower the car we would need to go coil overs. Even with the engine sitting lower about 5/8" total the Kooks 1 7/8" headers fit great. I finished plumbing them to the factory titanium mufflers and the sound is as tame as stock. It will surprise quite a few people I bet. Looks stock, sounds stock

For a finished look I was able to cut down the stock fuel rail covers to fit the new setup. I measured out about 5 1/2" from the snap pins and trimmed the driver side a little more to clear the fuel line and booster hose. It fits like stock now. I love these chargers for the low maintenance and quiet design.

Also for anyone who cant see the pictures try downloading the "Photobucket Hotlink Fix" extension for Chrome browser.

Here are some pictures of the final results:

And the video: Warning its a long one 20Minutes of condensed work and talking about the issues I ran into:

Just wanted to give a quick update, The car put down some expected numbers that I am happy with considering it is a factory sealed stock bottom end LS6. It drives like a stock car with the exception of the Spec stage 3+ clutch. I run the same clutch in my Camaro but its a lot stiffer in the Z06 for some reason.
Final results are .01hp shy of 500RWHP and 461 RWTQ. In a light car like this it absolutely rips with no ill driving effects or any audible hint of ANY modifications at all when its sitting at a red light. Its got the stock titanium exhaust and kooks up front with cats. I wanted to put out a video before posting but Ive got a lot going on with my family and work right now so the official release will come later on when I get time to do some editing. The tune was done by a local LS dyno shop and the aim was for a long lasting trouble free setup that would fly under the radar.
