We are pleased to announce the introduction of a new component for the LS1-LS6 engine platform that improves the per shot efficiency and power output of any nitrous oxide kit on the market today.
The "Power Plate" is a CNC machined, billet aluminum spacer plate that sandwiches between the throttle body and the intake manifold which is used to introduce nitrous oxide to the engine and absolutely no modifications to the O.E.M. air inlet ducting is necessary.
It can be integrated for use with any nitrous kit that is readily available on the aftermarket today which uses a single nitrous/fuel fogger nozzle for injection.
No working pictures of the spray pattern at this time. The fogger nozzle used was a NX Express unit and the spray pattern will be one in the same as they specify for this type of injector nozzle.
The nearly equal exhaust port temperatures and the greater power output of the engine when our plate is used, (higher than the nitrous kit manufacturers claim) indicates a very homogenous, equal air/fuel/nitrous mixture in all 8 cylinders.
The system efficiency and power output per shot of nitrous is greatly increased due to the location of the injector nozzle in relation to the engine, therefore, a bottle of nitrous will have a longer effective life before refilling is needed.
