I went back out to the half mile event at Coalinga Airport yesterday, put on by Shift-Sector and Neverlift...
I ran in the rear wheel drive class, and took first place! you basically had to qulify in the first round, top four MPHs went on to the semis, then top two mphs went on to the finals. I ran a best of 173.95 in the morning, then followed that up with a handful high 172 MPH passes. I did not expect to beat the supra in the finals, since he had run 5 MPH better then me earlier, but I guess he got a little nervous when he saw us prepping the car before the finals, so maybe he turned up the boost a notch. Anyway, he only made it halfway down the runway before blowing it up...
Can ran great all day, came home in one piece!
Here's a a short vid of one of my better runs, tried coming out of the hole easy in first and second, since I would just spin other wise... This run was against a new ZR1 with no wing!
Thank you, just happened to line up with him, and didn't even realize it was a ZR1 till just before we went out. He had unbolted and taken off his rear wing...

that's sweet... my car traps around the speeds yours does but down here I have no chance in rwd or manual class, I get destroyed either way... what are you gonna spend the money on, more mods???
