Default 1/2 mile results ShiftS3ctor/NeverLift

Ended up taking my car to the 1/2 mile this past weekend. It was pretty hot and humid. Quick run down on the car
LME 416
vortech v2ti
91+meth
6Speed
86x/73x
Best pass of the day was a repeat from my last event with a 175.78mph it was 85* on that pass. Pretty happy how the car ran in the heat. Will be going back in October with some more weight reduction and hopefully cooler air.
Heres a bunch of pictures didn’t really get any videos

Hell yeah, rowing gears to 175! I can vouch for the brutal conditions. I had two GTR customers at that event and I was reviewing logs and making tune tweaks and the cars were definitely slower at this event than their last event. Last year the one car easily went 205mph and this year I struggled to get it to 202. So i'd say you got a good 2-3mph left in it with some better air!

I’ve done two mile events so far and agree, the feeling and freedom to row the gears to high speeds legally is amazing!

Yea grabbing gears going that fast is definitely fun. Hopefully we get some good weather in October. Would be cool to see a Ti car go 180

Cars like yours are at or near 200mph! Mine at the time did 165 but this year I’m hoping for more

I just noticed that you have your exhaust run exactly how I've wanted to do it for years now. That looks awesome.

Thanks it looks really good in person, the shop that did it really killed it! I also used vbands so I can swap on muffler deletes and take off a little more weight

I was planning on just doing some 3" slip joints so I could do the same. The biggest challenge for me will be creating a cutting template so that both sides are located in the same spot so my OCD doesn't ruin it for me.

No idea what the shop used for mine but I can’t tell the difference from either side.
