Default Procharger @ 6lbs

Would adding a Procharger on a stock LS6, with stock exhaust manifolds, produce 575whp on 6lbs/boost? Only mods are 60lb injectors and stronger valve springs.
Asking for a friend. Not my car.

what blower?... on a p1/d1 highly unlikely in my opinion, it is possible to make 575 on a completely stock engine though... maybe he's lying about something or just doesn't know any better??

I figure with a blower that size you would need to see more that 6psi manifold pressure in order to force enough air into the engine to make 575 to the tires, probably in the 10-12psi range makes more sense so basically he would have to be spinning it harder than what he's saying... did you happen to see what pulley is on it?

Just doing ricer math, 6 psi boost = 1.4 pressure ratio. 575 whp / 1.4 PR = 410 whp NA. Of course things aren't that simple, but it tells me the only way 575 @ 6lbs would be possible would be with a full bolt on/cam LS6 making closer to 450whp NA.

No, the fella keeps saying that except for the P-1SC-1, stronger valve springs and 60lb injectors, the engine is completely stock. He says it makes 575whp at 6lbs.
Just thought that number was awfully high.

I had that same set-up on a 2003 C5Z. Made 506whp on a dynojet. Like others have posted, 575whp from a P1 at 6lbs on a stock LS6 is not going to happen. That being said, I really liked that power
level and the way the car drove. Lots of fun on the street at that level without much compromise.
I am thinking of doing the same thing to my current '02 C5Z.

PSI is a measure of restriction, not airflow; in theory you could have a 6PSI system produce outsized results. With that said... 575 whp would be hard to attain with any setup I know of for a stock bottom end.

Do note however that different dynos read differently, and many shops like to use correction factors to give higher numbers to make their customers happier. Hypothetically, he may have gone to a particularly generous dyno, and got a dyno sheet that says 575.

He could also have used a virtual dyno and/or is just full of it. So many potential options on this one.
