Need some info/help
So I’m sure this is pretty basic but I’m removing the heater core from my car and looping the lines that run to the water pump. My questions are can I go ahead and just cap the outlets at the bottom of the reservoir and can I remove the metal lines out of the engine bay with the engine in the car? If you have done this let me know. Thanks

The problem I had when doing this was filling the car with coolant since we don't have radiator caps. I kept the forward most water pump port to allow the reservoir to drain into and tapped the rear most port and installed a plug.

Thanks. Instead of installing a plug to the other port can I just run a line back to the reservoir?
