I'm really hoping to get some garage time this weekend. I want that 402 home and plugged in.

Question on intakes. I have a Fast 92 already at home (two, actually, with one for sale.) Is there any reason I would want to swap it out for something different on the 402? I figure the blower up front should generally neutralize any change such as to a 102 or other product but thought I would crowd source input.

Stick with the 92 as I've seen people having nothing but problems with the 102 throttle bodies.

I also a fast 92 set up as well on my hci z06. Are these not good for boost? From what I’ve read ppl have issues with leaks, and said the stock ls6 intake manifold is better. Is this accurate?

I have heard the same, but not experienced any issues with mine in 2 to 3 years of 9.6psi with flashes up to 12 in lower gears. No leaks, cracks, loose nuts, worn seals - nada. The newer one which came on the blue Z this year, also blown, was likewise without issue.

I have no first hand experience with the FAST line of intakes but from everything I have read they don't start having issues until you hit higher boost figures. I've also read that if they are installed and torqued properly they won't leak at all. I've only ever used the LS6 and LS2 intakes and haven't had any issues with either.

There are other options and on some setups, they will make more power. But most people do not have the engine and setup to take advantage from it. A lot of the people you see putting them are having minimal gains if any, especially since you already have a fast.
