Default Questions install?i

I recently purchased the 1500 supercharger kit from ecs. I have been having a hard time getting info from ecs on the install. The instructions online are out dated does not show things my kit came with a new p/s cooler smaller where is it mounting to same location? They show 2 different air dams online, they show the stock air dam being cut, but the install pic shows a different piece of plastic? New radiator mounts for the top just 2 metal brackets no rubber cushion to hold it in..i spoke to chris, and told me the directions were not updated..i spoke to alex yesterday and was going to send me the info after he spoke to the tech! He never sent anything..so im at a standstill with the install, so i will install my steam kit for now. Any help would be great thanks!

Take the rubber pieces out of the factory radiator hold down. They go inside the new radiator brackets (also don’t forget the rubber piece for the bottom of the radiator that is attached to the factory radiator frame.

For the power steering cooler it will fit where the factory one was (using one of the original mounting holes and a different hole in the subframe). I needed to flatten out one of the mounting tabs to make it work.

For the air dam, I just had to cut the factory piece more than what the instructions show.

when you place the radiator in the ECS frame it will get it to the right angle. Make sure you have the AC line bent straight so the bottom of the radiator can get into position.

the bottom of the radiator is lock in on the frame..i assume its the top ac line that needs to be adjusted to let the top of the radiator move ?

yes, you might need to bend that slightly. Also make sure you trim the upper radiator hose

mine looked exactly how it is in the instructions. Tensioner mounted on the bolt that has the wire tie on it and the idler pulley went on the blue bolt with a spacer between pulley and bracket. Not sure why you received another tensioner.

yes, you need to cut notches in the bracket and break it off so you can fit the heavy duty fixed idler in.

I spoke to Alex from ecs, he sent me 30 or 40 updated pictures of the c5 kit.
I have spoke with a few people over there and all of them are knowledgeable and solved the problems I had. Give them a call, they are your best source for information. (Not that the guys here are not knowledgeable)
