Did you have an aneurism this morning?

In for pics of the corvette centipede. Would make a great screenplay

“Volume metric” hahahahahahahaha. Is this when you measure volume in cubic meters instead of cubic inches?

Well, this was a long time coming. Speedy has been running wild for a few weeks now. Feel bad for KT35 getting all his engine rebuild threads gunked up.

I feel bad he blew his engine in the 1st place ! But on a serious note ! I do run a 10.8 to 1 ! And a ls9 122 211/232 @ .550-.600 ! I would be happy if any of you would like my complete list for everything I’ve put into the car with my own to hands with the exception of the fuel pump because I do all my work in my own garage and could t risk my little ones smelling the fumes ! I spent more on the engine then what the entire car is worth and it’s built to my opinion bullet proof! I’m still adding on to this day! My MMR M 755’s 19/20 will be here Tomorrow! A few days later my volant dual ram for the V3 ! Going to see how much air I can stuff through it before modding that!

How many of you actually have a flat cross plane crank I bet not one of ya ! It the small differences bxt my car and all of yours I actually spend the money to put in it through tria and error rather then complain and dream ! And say to everyone your wrong and reckless yada yada yada

I thought you were still on the stock cam?... what tires are you going to put on those wheels?... have you considered just leaving the filter off so it has no restriction?... everyone in this section has spent more money than we want to admit lol

I wish I had a flat plane crank! What I did instead was, I had the machine shop infuse the certain parts of the crank with lead. My theory is that the imbalance will actually help swing the crank around using what I call “Mudslinger tech”. Pretty much free horsepower.

The term mudslinger is much not related to cars but to the above post! Lol

Counter balancer would be a much closer relation!

My wife says I have no duration to maintain. I'm from the south where chase is a race! She don't git it so I win every time!
What about combustion chamber vs piston shape and the distance from the deck to the piston on compression calculation? What about when you're 10.75, at sea level and 10psi boost? How's that affect compression with pump gas?
I keep reading about 122 LSA and somewhere I read where it is a "faster" camshaft. Please explain.
I have decent math skills, I mean I know 1+1 and 4*4 and all but I don't know the centipedal math, especially as it applies to engines. Help me out. Share?

So your car is done? That 122 LSA camshaft is in? What all is done do your car at this time? What did it dyno? Track? I'm just curious.

Are you saying that you have a flat plane crank for YOUR C5?
I know at least one member in this conversation that has a flat plane crank. You might be surprised.

I built my car 4 times and am on the 5th time now. I've done a Maggie, a YSi, a YSi with a plate, Ysi with direct port, F1X with direct port, F2 with direct port, F2 without nitrous, Much with the stock computer, the rest with the Haltech Platinum 2000 and then Elite 2500, forged 347. iron 403, 408, 427, aluminum 427, back to iron 427, Lingenfelter 243 heads, Trick Flow heads, now MAST heads. 5 different clutches, 3 different transmissions, coming up on 4, 3 different differentials, coming up on 4, built my own engines, transmission, rewired everything under the hood, completely disassembled the entire car, doors, glass and all, painted and reassembled it, polished the rear cradle and control arms by hand and the list goes on. ALL in my own garage, in my house. And I've taken plenty of videos over the years. I've also built all time record holding C5's so that others have something to try and beat. One has the dyno record for stock bottom end engines. For those that say "F your dyno numbers, show me the time slip, I've got one with the 1/4mi time and speed record for stock bottom end. Full weight C5Z with not one factory option removed and hundreds of additional pounds added. I've consulted and help build and tune more of the member cars in here than I can count. All in my own garage, in my home. I've spent more than all the cars in this thread combined, it's embarassing. I'm not cool, I'm stupid as **** and I'm f'ing broke.
for me.

So you're putting those wheels on the car? The factory wheels? They're already ordered? Let me know how they fit. They're bad ***!!

I've done fuel pumps in the garage. I use a bunch of fans and blow the fumes out the door so the family doesn't scream at me.
