I recently picked up a c5z with a a&a kit and the belt is one rib off of the fixed ribbed pulley. Everything else appears to be in line. I seen a few post from around 06-08 that they replaced the bracket and that fixed the problem. But is there anything else I can check before I just plan on replacing a bracket? It literally looks like if I put a washer behind the pulley (pushing it closer to the motor) it line right up and be fine. Thanks for any info and help
I have read about some of the kits, either ecs, a&a or maybe both, need a washer to line it up. Seems like I saw it even came in the kit or something. I did not install my kit so I don't have any hands on experience.

is the blower pulley hub the same on both sides?... sometimes you can flip them around and fix it but if they are the same then a spacer could do it... have you checked the alignment of the other pulleys with a laser?
I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. I had to put some washers to shim out one part of the bracket and get it twisted some what back to form. Probably not the best way but better then 800-1000 for a new bracket.
