Guys,

I am asking here as I believe this issue occurred after the SC install and tune. I have no issues with the way the car runs in gear at all. She feels pretty damn strong. The only thing that is irritating is that once my car goes into closed loop at idle in park\neutral she stumbles a bit. In open loop at idle in park\neutral she is perfectly smooth. Also smooth in any other gear. I've been playing with the tune, but still cannot get her to smooth out. The car is SD tune and has LTFT disabled. The timing is stock in park\neutral, but changing it has made no difference. I was going to try to enable LTFT again although I think it may not matter. The STFT has been working fine and within the -/+ 5% of 0.. I would think the SC should not matter a bit, but maybe it does, need more RPM at idle.....not sure......Others have had no issues at near stock idle.........................So any thoughts here? Now my TB is ported a bit, but never had a stumble at idle in closed loop....I know some say the ls1 is not super smooth, but the ones I've heard recently sure were...my buddy has a completely stock 2000 auto like mine ansd she was very smooth at all times....Any advice would be appreciated

Must have missed this one. Please post your tune file and datalog if possible... best way go about this one is see what changes when closed loop kicks in and is probably an indicator of whats going on.

 

BTW mine in some ways runs smoother in open loop too, especially when its a little on the rich side like it should be.... closed loop its always slightly bouncing AFR around.

 

What is your engine combo? What is your idle rpm?

 

Cool....Thanks.....I will try to post my file after work.....Right now I made the idle a bit smoother by upping the base airflow numbers. But I only tested this after I let the car warm up in the garage. I do still have an idle hang issue, again in park\neutral only...I will tweak that once more, test and get a file out for review.......

 

mods in sig.....I increased my idle rpm in P\N to 810.....Seems better. It was 775rpm, but again I made base airflow increases as well, but only to the tune of 7%......Still testing.....
