Radiator Lowering Kit
I know a lot of you have seen Andy’s at A&A and it is a good idea. If enough of us are interested maybe we could get one of the Vendors to make the kit. If not I am toying with the Idea of doing it myself.
The kit would include the following and would go for around $500.
Lower Radiator Brackets
Upper Radiator Bracket
Upper Radiator Hose
Lower Radiator Hose
Nutsert tool
Nutserts
Air Bridge
Air Bridge Silocon Hose
Air Bridge Hose Clamps
Misc. Hardware
Let me know what you think.

Now about the kit, if you leave the original lower brackets intact then you would need new fabricated brackets. And if you are not a welder (I’m not) then you need something to attach these brackets. I would use Nutserts. Also this kit should include a template so there is no guest work in where the brackets would go.
The top bracket would either need to be fabricated or a new one altogether. Again screws or something to hold sides together if you ar fabricating the old one.
You would need radiator hoses as you stated. Andy at A&A said he modifies both radiator hoses. It sounds like you got away with only changing one. Do you have a part number on the radiator hose you used.
Also lets not forget about the Air Bridge, Air Bridge Silocon Hose, and the Air filter and clamps.
I think this could be a kit that most people could install without any welding. This is one of the reasons for this kit. Some people don’t have guys like you or Andy close by them and would need to do this on their own.
BTW: Did the airflow into the radiator get affected by moving it forward 5.5 inches?
Again thanks for the info and please send pics it sound like a nice setup.

The first kit will include the following; (Keep in mind that the goal for this kit was that no cutting or welding be required for installation). Also the first kit will be for a single turbo like Cerra’s. The ATI will come shortly thereafter with only a few mods.
Lower Radiator Brackets with radiator drain hole on passenger side
Upper Radiator Bracket that will probably be aluminum.
Lower Radiator Hose
Rivet nuts for mounting
Air deflector to replace the plastic one and create more area for air to move.
Air Bridge. ( At this time it will be aluminum.
Air Bridge Silocon Hose
Air Bridge Hose Clamps
Misc. Hardware
The jigs are being made next week. Because next week is a short week the jigs may be delayed, but I have hope that it will still be completed. Once the jigs are done we will test for fitment on multiple cars and if all is well it will be ready for production.
Additionally I have done some preliminary temperature testing in four locations on the radiator in stock form. Once the first production kit is available I will retest with the radiator repositioned, in the same locations that I tested in stock form. As soon as I have this data I will post it on the Forum.
If you are interested in the test equipment that I am using for this data, it is a SPER Scientific 4 Channel Thermometer with K-Type surface mount probes.
If anyone is interested in this kit or the ATI kit please send me an email.

BTW, I'm still waiting on a reply post from MMS on another thread-it seems as though their kit is still in R&D phase.
Please be patient we have had 2 versions of the brackets and I was no happy with how them. I will not send this out until it is ready and has the quality that I think it should.
Thank you for all of you patients,
Sean…
Please keep us posted. I am definitely interested in the DIY kit for the ATI SC's. Will any special tools that don't come with the kit be required to do the conversion / installation?
