Default altered zo6 intake

In some of the post it seems the guys at Cartek and maybe others are porting or port matching the zo6 intakes. Anyone have knowledge or experience with this. I don't know how difficult it may be or if there is any advantage but since we are limited to this intake and an 80mm TB surely someone has tryed or toyed with the idea of increasing the flow. Probably don't need more flow on small cubes but seems like it would work well on the bigger cube engines. Of course it could get expensive breaking out the dremmel tools on too many of this intakes.

The Holley/LPE intake for LSx motors flows about the same as an LS6 intake does, but it can me ported/polished or extrude honed to flow even more.

I talked to some tuners about the intake and they found that the metal holds enough heat to more than nullify any flow improvements you might gain from porting, the plastic stays cool and the metal can't compete.
