Default Halltech TT buttkicker tidbit/update

SAw this on their website...DAMN!!

What a work of art/engineering that TT is :D

arggg I wannna get one...maybe in a few months...hmmm

"Halltech's Twin Turbo-R project hit a snag with over 700 HP (13 PSI boost) fracturing two stock pistons (cast), so the next logical step is to "bulletproof" the bottom end with a Katech C5R crank, rods and billet main caps. Katech Pistons will be dished for 9:1 static compression, and will be made of bulletproof 2618T6 forged aluminum. ARP studs will bring strength to the program, with ported heads, and a mild Competition Cam. 1000 HP will be the result at 18-20 PSI Boost. Believe it! "

Chuck Mallett told me that if they get it working with the KaTech engine it should have even more than the 1000HP at the flywheel ... more like 1000RWHP ...!!! :smash:

and it will cost... oh never mind.... :D ...I think Mallet overcharges and the one time I dealt with them, they were arrogant and could not give damn about my needs or question....

But that Halltech system ROCKS.. well after they put in some forged pistons :D THey havea bunch of cool lil parts also that were conceived while doing that TT.... quality stuff :D

I think Jim would gain a hell of a lot more credibility on the forum as well as off if he would just post a dynograph of what this system can do. Once people get a taste of how well this system works especially if it does what he claims, the SERIOUS buyers would start considering this kit. By now there should be graphs of at least a 5-8 lbs of boost on this system. It's great to know the potential limits of the LS6 engine but I doubt most are going to try and run 13 lbs of boost on a stock engine anyway. Lets see what it does for most of our applications. JMO.

I think that you misunderstood what I meant ... while I agree Mallett overcharges and is arrogant, I meant that Chuck has been keeping in contact with Halltech and they have been tlaking and the 1000RWHP is his estimate for the car once it is done ...
