Default ATI procharger question.

Can you install a P1SC on a stock LS1 motor if the car is an 01? I have heard that you have to also install a blower cam if the car is an 01 due to compression issues.

First I've heard of that, I've never heard of any CR diff in the diff c5's with the exception of the zo6 and they simply run with 1 lb. less boost. (suppose ot anyway)

... :nonod: No cam needed, your fine with the compression the LS1 makes considering the P1 shouldn't boost more then 5psi in stock form.

ATI makes a great kit... for the LS1 and LS6. ALL C5 years. Typically the LS1 kit will lay down about 7 psi of boost. 440-475 rwhp seems the norm. LS6 packages will put down about 6.5psi (larger SC pulley) because of the higher compression and will deliver 500-530rwhp. Numbers I post are average... and are based on installing an ATI kit on a completely stock C5. Numbers go up when you start talking additional mods... and so does the expense. Blower cams and higher flowing heads are not needed... unless your power expectations are higher than the average numbers on stock packages I have stated.
