Dual fuel

It had dual injectors and fuel rails and is very economical
I'm interested in running pump gas on the primary, and use a hobbs triggered micro squirt to control the additional 8 injectors and run e85 or pure alchy in the secondary injectors
the micro squirt can be programmed to add the additional fuel with wide band trimming and activated by a hobbs switch to bring the secondary injectors online under micro squirt control.
This makes it a bit easier to upgrade the fuel system. I'm interested in the tuning challenges and if anyone has used the micro squirt or other similar additional injector controllers
I also have a haltech platinum s2000 that could do all 16 injectors and control the whole shebang. I need to get the $ worked out but I'm interested in any feedback and experience.
I think for what I'm trying to do with twin turbos on the street, (target around 1000-1400 on kill) the dual fuel will work well for scenarios where the e85 isn't available.
right now gas of any kind isn't available so a backyard still is looking better all the time!!

when shortages started, panic buying ensued and cleaned gas out of all the stations in populated areas
typical DC knee jerk panic reaction
people filled up gas cans and horded

I'm looking to do my tune with 80 lb injectors on pump gas (primary)
and another set of dedicated injectors for e85 or pure meth
looking for maybe a micro squirt or other dedicated controller with wideband control for the secondary injectors
hoping this will make both the c5 fuel system upgrades easier, and allow good cold use operation on pump gas without hassles of flex fuel
thoughts?? What does the stock ecm do when maxed out and "seeing" another fuel source from the AIC
a few folks have done this and I'm excited about the new holley front feed low profile intake to really zing the engine up to around 7300-7500 rpms with twin turbos

upgrading to champion 3" exhaust with full c6 z06 modded for c5 for true 3" exh
I already have a big 5 gal alchy tank in the back, and can use my bosch pump to feed the engine
now, I'm thinking of a microsquirt ecm to just run the secondary injectors. The pump needs to come online with the alchy around 8 psi and start to feed in up past 10 or 12 psi to add fuel and cool things down
a wideband and egt sensor can help with tuning chores and auto correction of the additional alchy (thinking of pure m1 instead of e85)
I've got a set of 80 lb injectors for the pump gas and 127 bosch for the alchy so I'll have more than enough fuel.
I'm interested in what the heck the factory ecm does when it sees the additional fuel come in? it seems it would "pull fuel" and the other computer would add more.
I know wheel to wheel and other folks have done the "split brain" stuff. They used two stock ecms wired separately (no wideband except for monitoring)
I think this would give me the "goodness" of e85 and pump 93 gas with more tuning capability. Still would be wed to hp tuners but with some "top cover" from the microsquirt and auto correction to add fuel if things get too lean.
I'm going to bounce this idea off some tuner buddies so they can tell me I'm crazy.

What are you looking to do with the car, and what type of power are you after?

the new intake is really designed for a top end bomber and optimized for 6000-8000
I'm thinking of running 80 lb injectors for the pump gas and another 80 or so for the secondary injectors running m1
tuning is going to be a challenge, but also has some advantages on integration costs which are easy.
because I'm using a dedicated tank for the Alchy, the intank pump issues are mitigated and I'll run a big bosch external pump to push around 500 or so hp and the alchy side
base tune and map does 800 at the tire so the alchy is for additional hp and chemical intercooling the injectors are right in the intake and this setup speaks to me!
check out the new holley low profile dual injector intakes. I'm hoping the snorkel nose will fit, if not, they have a front end feeder design
