I have a 97 p1sc1 procharged c5, the transmission case cracked when installing a new converter. When I purchased the car I was told it has an RPM transmission (no paperwork) the car began to slip when in boost and i went to replace the converter as the old one was having issues. When doing so the case on the transmission cracked, now I’m stuck between repair or replace. Any tips on a transmission that can handle 750whp?
Just noticed it's slipping also. Also you probably messed up the pump. I don't think the converter was seated correctly and forcing the trans caused the crack. Agree with above on calling RPM and have a professional install.
Call RPM transmissions. Have them build you a transmission.
You probably should have a shop install your stuff, because based on that crack, you don’t know what you’re doing...
Just sayin’
it was a stupid mistake on my part, not my first time wrenching. Anybody that has done any type of work on their own vehicle I’m sure has made a mistake atleast once. Thanks for your input though👍🏼

We all make mistakes, especially me, LOL. Just curious, how much boost are you running to get over 700 horsepower at the rear wheel? My C5 with Procharger P1 SC1 only makes 517 horsepower at the rear wheel on 7 lbs. of boost.

I'm getting 677 to the tire and 640 torq but it's a big 416 ls3 head lsa engine
I think I'm at 14 psi on a good flowing head (wcch ported) Still have the stock ls3 intake and c5 intercooler
I have a d1sc and bigger c6 intercooler waiting to bolt on with the 6 rib drive
gotta get my ZR-1 back first and then it's back to the dyno for some tuning
using 127 bosch fic injectors this time and an e85 tune. I herard the 04 ecm can do flex fuel, but I think I'll stay e85 and let it eat.
I went with a performabuilt stage 3 transmission on my 05 C6 4l65 transmission and I would say if I have to do it all over again I would go with them. Converter wise I went with circle D my last dyno was at 655whp@12psi however we changed pulleys and retune on the street and all I can say the transmission doesn't skip a beat. Definitely recommend them.
