Tr6060 issue
I might have better luck posting this in c6 section but figured worth a shot. Did the tr6060 swap with a 09 zr1 trans. Swap went smooth. Trans shifts fine under normal driving. Trans also shift fine under hard acceleration but I do notice after doing a pull or track pass the shifter starts getting stiff. Stiff like even side to side motion if you put it over to say 5th and not go into 5th it will not return to center on its own. Last pull I did it actually was hard to put in any gear.
Im assuming this is an issue with trans overheating or just getting hot. I am NOT running a trans cooler, I simply just looped the line. Seems others have done this and not had any issues.
I am running redline gear oil. I’m going to try something else before pulling this thing out.
Has anyone had this issue or heard of one similar?

you mean like 1/4mile type pulls? what if you drive for a long periods of time? do you notice any shifter issue. how much miles on it, it's a used trans I assume, has it been sitting?
I have a ZR1 trans/diff in mine, with looped lines also, I dont experience this, I've done up to 5 back to back pulls with no issue. and I run regular ATF
I'll drain the fluid, see what it looks like, maybe have a look at the detent spring on the side of the trans.

I have not noticed any issues normal driving. Even for longer periods of time, not that I drive much longer than an hour… it’s usually only after a few pulls. This last time around it was after the first one and was super stiff side to side and didn’t want to go into gear for almost a minute.
I am using redline d4 atf not gear oil as previously stated. It’s almost it happens because it’s getting hot I’m assuming. I’m going to drain oil and see what it looks like hopefully get to it tomorrow.
