I want to turbo my vette in the future when I have the resources and when I replace the exhaust I've heard 4" is what you should get but are 2.5" 3" and 3.5" really much worse(I see how 2.5 and 3 inch would be but 3.5?) Finding 4" is expensive and not just all over the market.
What size would I need to be using the maximum potential of my engine and if I installed a turbo would not put any backpressure on the system.
single or twin turbo
turbo size, hp goals
street or race
it's hard to get too good an exh but on the c5 there are packaging limitations and the 3" with twins is about as good as you can get
make sure you have a good flowing 3" or bigger down pipe and 3" or larger down stream with very good flowing mufflers or cut outs
