Stock fuel system you say…. Upgrade the fuel system while getting the block fixed.

wait, stock as in stock fuel pump and injectors? no meth? did they do the blower, cam install also?
To make several tuning adjustments, they should of caught that the car is running out of fuel, way before making it all the way to redline and 642whp, there's just back to back to back red flags here. I wouldn't trust them to remedy this, they aren't capable. "reputable" is being used loosely here. sorry you had to go through this. but that car needs to go elsewhere, chalk it up as a life lesson. the "fast, cheap, reliable" logic will always apply in this game.

so I can help with the "good, fast, and cheap" mission. See my add in the c5 section for either an ls6 block or a fully built iron 4.8 short block

the 2003 and later blocks have a bit thicker sleeve and hold up to boost. Have all the parts to build it out

Or I have a complete 4.8 junk yard warrior with stock std crank, gen4 rods with fresh bolts, and wiseco 10-1 forged pistons

the 4.8 little thumper is ready to go. Let me know if interested.

Definitely don't sleeve that block. Look at the pic of the cracked sleeve. The water jacket wall is also cracked. No dice, homie. Time to grab a 4.8 or 5.3, gap those rings, upgrade the fuel and get back at it for cheap.

Shame about the engine. Stuff happens though.
