Default Alternator question

I have a 2001 a&a build 647 rwhp i have larger fuel pump updated fans and everything else recommended for a high hp build. I also have a double din radio with amp and subs. My question is do i need a highout alternator the one that is in the car is a 240 amp and im having electrical issues abs traction control and communication issues i just replace the BCM too. I need to replace this alt and i really dont think i need anything with that many amps. I think it's part of my problem. Should i go back to the stock or to a 145 amp and info would be great.
Hope this make sense as i have been up all night.
Thanks

What updated or upgraded fans are you using and with the stock radiator?

Stock Alt is fine for your needs.
Look at grounding issues first. These cars and their issues are many times grounding related.
Many people swear by the, BIG 3 upgrade.

Do not rely on alternator voltage to supply fuel for powerful engines.
When the alternator fails, the engine could be damaged.

The fuel system should be able to support the power output at battery baseline voltage 12.45v to 12.55v
As long as you calibrate the flow requirement for the system and select a pump that produces adequate flow at the lower voltage there’s no downside to running at 12-VDC vs 13.5-14.0 VDC.

It is best to tune the engine using battery voltage without the alternator involved.
Modern stand-alone should allow you directly set WOT alternator voltage duty cycle

If the fuel pump cannot support engine power at 12.45~ battery voltage then you should upgrade the fuel pump.
There are other issues associated with alternator output at WOT also which I have not discussed but should be noted, oscillations in the frequency response of electrical devices such as coil dwell and injector delay time which may wander between in-phase and out of phase with the alternator unsteady voltage signal, this can cause oscillations in cylinder pressure due to variability in spark energy and fuel injector on-time during a wot run.
