Default Methanol Question

Here's a good one which just came up elsewhere.

A guy is testing his Alky brand meth kit and the light doesn't go green. He tests at idle and IATs drop and idle changes but the light remains green.

I thought it was the pump going but it seems he needed to put his foot in it and trigger the map switch.

But here is the question - - what variable does the PAC controller require to light off the Green indicator? Or what specifically is the light telling us is occuring when it goes from red/activated to green/on?

Saw a guy just today on FB saying his light won't turn green during test. Mine never has. It goes full green when it's at full spray. The instructions say it should be red at 4psi and flips to green at full pressure, which can be adjusted on the pump itself.

I've got this kit and I love it. The customer service is exceptional. As stated for "test" the light comes on red. Once the pump increases speed the light will turn green. You can adjust the parameters with the control box which would be set up on the dyno. mine is installed where the battery used to be. The other controller is used for varying atmospheric conditions and should be accessible. Mine is in the glove box.
You wouldn't want the pump to go to full speed/pressure until there is sufficient demand. There is A LOT of spray at that point. The only time I use the "test" button is for drag racing or similar.
Hope this is of some use.

I had the same problem you need to adjust the initial on the controller. Mine was set low Initial is your problem

Iirc, I think the issue turned out to be only that he didn't know the difference between initialized and active.
