Magnuson/Superchips program problems
Anyone have any problems with running lean after Magnuson install and using the Superchips program that came with it. I fried a piston while on the dyno at MMS in Reseda getting dyno tuned. The car ran very lean with the Superchips program. That is the reason I had it at MMS. Didn't get there soon enough. :cry :cry

Now that you have to fix it, I would at the very least add the LPE GT2 cam. for $450 more you get 30-50 RWHP & 15-20 RWTQ.
Better w/ a set of head to complement the cam
Best if you can afford the parts a forged bottom end+H&C :D

Who installed it, they should be held responsible for the piston, if you didn't have an authorized Magnusson dealer do it, sorry to say, shame on you. You may however, have recourse w/ Magnusson since their programmer was too lean causing the failure - I'd certainly contact them. Probably their out will be it could've been caused due to inadequate fuel pressure, either fuel pump, fuel filter or stopped up injectors. Who knows, you may have fuel delivery problems. I truly am empathetic for you and your Vette, NO Vette owner should be without their ride.

That's really terrible. Any chance you bought the Magnacharger warranty? I would certainly like to hear how those claims are handled.

DOSENT THE MAGNUSON WARRANTY COVER REPAIRS AFTER 90 DAYS AND 1500 MILEW? I DONT HAVE MY CAR BACK YET BUT I THINK THATS WHAT I READ. I DID PURCHASE THE WARRANTY, LET US KNOW HOW THIS UNFOLDS! SORRY ABOUT YOUR CAR :steering:

Those caps are hard on my old eyes guy :eek: Having said that, if you purchased the warranty, can you pretty please post what is covered, e.g., parts and labor, parts only, labor only, tranny only, engine only, entire drivetrain. Thanking you in advance - if you don't want to post, please IM me.
