Default Supercharger questions

Hello friends,
I have been thinking about adding more power to my car (2000 C5 M6) and as I live in California it has been brought to my attention that the only LEGAL option would be a carb legal A&A supercharger which I’m heavily considering but I have a couple questions as I don’t know much about forced induction.
1. I regularly drive my car in the canyons where it sees higher rpms for extended periods of time (20-40 minutes at a time) and I’ve heard that forced induction mixed with long term high heat leads to piston rings failing, so my question is if I keep the car cooler (hood vents, oil cooler etc) will that prevent me from blowing my motor?
2. Would these heat issues be something I could notice on my temp and oil temp gauges? Or would it be hard for me to know?

thanks to anyone who responds to this, I appreciate your time and your information and I hope you all have a good day,
- Will

Happy Easter!

if you get a base kit and keep the boost at 7-8 psi you will have no problems.

every time you drive the car hard oil temp goes up. if you restrain yourself and short shift you might even see lower oil temps with the centri having more power of course.
